Why is the writing so disturbingly substandard? Having read Rabindranath Tagore, one would expect a little bit of respect, if not a semblance to the elegance of the Tagore's writing. I mean, is just a general sense of good screenplay too much to ask? See, the whole essence of Tagore's stories is their subtlety. AND WHY IS THE TREATMENT OF CHARACTERS SO SHALLOW AND THE STORY SO CRUDELY TOLD? UGH. BREAKS MY HEART (in a v aggressive way, as is to be understood by the caps lock)
