Not one for writing reviews usually. But I felt the need with this one. Do not bother - watch paint dry instead. Way more entertaining. I like a good rom-com especially at Christmas. Started to watch and within 5 minutes I was bored and uninspired. Still gave it a chance hoping that it to would get better over time. How wrong I was. Lead actors have no chemistry whatsoever and are very wooden. Plot was boring and predictable and there is no humour whatsoever. I lasted about 40 minutes then just had to turn it off. It is a very poor take on Scottish life and overly stereotypical and very patronising. I’m married to a Scot and even I found it cringey. I’m going to have to delete from my watchlist as he will never speak to me again. Plus sides - Hamish and the scenery, so two stars just for that.
