Once again, Disney just cannot get it right. And, Marvel should have kept their company right where it was before. The pilot for this series sold it for me. The other four episodes just couldn't stand up. The finale was horrible. So, the director who happens to be Native American told Disney she would not go in the direction of Echo's powers taken from the Comic book....because she admits it would be boring and lame. Disney told her okay. She went too far showing too much Native-American background that could have been summed up in one episode. Too many flashbacks of Echo's ancestors. Look, I get it.....you wanted to show off your roots, and that's fine. But, save it for your own project, not on Disney's dime. Well, this director kept to her word and did not show a minute of Echo's powers. Five episodes were all about her past and roots. Then, they made Wilson Fisk look weak in the finale. Also, Daredevil was in one episode. He was supposed to get the help of a former ally - Jessica Jones. Nothing remotely close led up to that. Disney claims this show leads up to the events of the new Daredevil series. We'll see how that goes. Hope Echo gets a second chance in that series.....and with her powers.
