The movie was great, but exactly what you expect. A lot of flash, but the substance of the movie was rather rancid. It happens between two solidly canon moments, so none of the events can affect things going forward. And the story had plenty of potential hooks, but seems to leave them on the table unused. Take that with a grain of salt, as I'm a fanfic author who intentionally looks for those dangling threads. But whoever wrote this movie definitely missed some things that could have really elevated the film to be a better story, if not a better movie.
