This documentary touched me deeply as I have experienced something quite similar however less tragic.
My twin sister was struck by a vehicle which had fractured her skull in two places and was placed in a coma lasting 3 weeks. She experienced many complications that almost cost her her life in that time. The doctor's were all amazed that she had survived this type of head trauma and she became well known around the hospital. Coming out of the coma she was someone so different from who she was before and the majority of her/our childhood was erased from her memory.
It's heart breaking to see someone who you shared everything with lose so much of themselves. Nevertheless she has the most positive attitude towards anything and everything in her life and makes all of those around her smile big. She's an inspiration to me and is my walking miracle.
I hold a tremendous amount of sympathy to both these brothers. This would be something extremely difficult to navigate for anyone and for them to have the power to share that with the world is very courageous and brave. Their strength is admirable. There is something so special and unique with the bond that twins possess. We are two halves of one soul. Thank you so much.
