This show completely surprised me. Not at all what I expected, very deep and almost spiritual at times. The mix of time periods, dimensions, Magic, and clashing cultures was captivating.
I especially love use of these incredibly complex black characters as the epic heroes of the story. It feels so good in the center of my chest to root for them every episode.
