I watched this movie only because it has Radhika Apte, Chaya Kadam, and Ashok Pathak. I used to wonder what this movie would be about, as the trailer and the name never quite gave a good hint. After watching it, I am still wondering what it's about?! There is no story to the point of calling this movie absolute garbage and pathetic. At times, it feels like a mockery of the lives of Indian people who do not live a comfortable and privileged life, who struggle daily to make ends meet. Of course, their life is frustrating and very challenging. Will they resort to sucking the blood of animals/birds and keep decorated dead bodies of their family members at home for days? It is extremely disturbing and disgusting. So far removed from practicality. Random juxtaposition of everything that made India controversial and sensational in the olden times. It's shameful that a person of Indian origin has made this movie.

Beautiful, powerful, and moving. What a masterfully crafted film.

Plot and subplots are SO WEAK. Dialogues seem forced at many points. Hats off to the opulent production design, costume and jewellery design though. Weakest of SLB till date.
