Having seen so many incarnations of Annie over the years I was skeptical for yet another version. To my surprise this was the best since the original Broadway musical. A fresh new version for a new generation. The music still speaks optimism which we all can use a huge dose of! Celina Smith shines brightly as the title character and the strong supporting cast led by Harry Connick and Taraji P. Henson brought new life and had me cheering. By far, one of the very best of the live television made musicals. Great family holiday and anytime entertainment

Critics aside this was a fun and interesting film. Great cast and I was never really familiar with the story. I’ve seen it twice without looking at my watch! Gaga delivers!
