This movie opens the subject of animal cruelty inside the food industry. A cruel, cruel industry of meat. Beautifully crafted film and a heart wrenching story.

A rich story of family. Outstanding cast, writing and music.

This film brilliantly depicted the cross-over between a reality and the re-occuring nightmare memory of a brutal assault. Carell's character created an entire world of companionship, kindness and love, to shield him from the real world of bigotry and cruelty. This community of acceptance through the dolls and the real friend characters were his way home to recovery. This story resembles an example of art therapy.

The challenges of representing the scope of a book are known; it is not realistic to expect it to contain the same detail or scope. This movie was fresh air inside a tiring field of super-heros, violence, and over-processed CGI. It was upbeat, visually stunning, and witty. The cast was perfect. A film worth seeing.

Very entertaining, well written, witty and beautifully crafted

Considering that it was based upon a true story, I think we could enjoy it and not split hairs or analyze it to death. Finally a movie that just is. Laughing is under-rated in film. So refreshing from all of the violence. These two actors are brilliant with humor. I loved it. And the sets were beautiful.

Excellent presentation and ideal length. Some series go on too long, this one did not. Learned much more about Spanish history and the evils of greed and power. The Inquisition was cruel and far reaching for financial gain. All hypocrites. Women were treated horribly by husbands, the law, and courts. Grateful to be alive today. As an idealist, I enjoy seeing good people prevail.

The worst movie. Great cast of actors that play eight of the worst characters you will encounter. They are spoiled, ungrateful, selfish, petty brats. They all sit around, drink and then complain about their horrible lives even though they have everything. Beautiful homes, children and any material thing they could ever want. A waste of life. Maybe this is the point.
