I just finished watching this movie and I am deeply moved by how the course of life of a person can be changed just because of greed, jealousy and sheer misuse of power in the name of religion. As a Psych Nurse, I empathize with Rose and the (many likes of Rose), who have had to undergo punishments and unwarranted treatments simply because someone feels so. It is indeed a tear-jerker and I'm so happy it ended well with her dreams coming true. I also hope Father Gaunt made a confession of all his atrocities!☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️ Perfect casting and a great story!
