poignant, deeply moving, it really made me think about the culture we have surrounding sexual assault and the way we (the public) and the justice system treats assailants and survivors. it was so emotional, and i really felt like i was able to empathize with her. please go read it. i don’t care what gender you are, what your views on sexual assault and the criminal justice system is, what your political views are, i could seriously care less. just go read it.
