A hill I'd be happy to die on. Wade Robson dated Michael Jackson's niece all throughout this adolescent years, only to break up after sleeping with Britney Spears while he was working as her choreographer. Being cut loose from MJ must have hurt significantly. MJ was the greatest living performing artist and did not need anyone - once he cut you out of his life, you didn't exist. However, Wade saw an opportunity to return in MJ's life when the King of Pop needed support during the 2005 molestation charges. Wade Robson provided testimony that vindicated MJ's innocence and the court found the star not guilty soon after.
None of this is really brought up in the documentary. Instead, we have accusations that failed to make much of a dint in court cases to extrapolate any funds from the Michael Jackson estate. Still, I can appreciate how much it must sting to not be apart of it all - the stardom, the family, the sense of belonging to something greater than you could possibly imagine. I hope Wade finds peace but you're going to need more than a highly artificial documentary and evading key facts to persuade me.
