Timothy Mbugua

This movie is great, but not in the way one would naturally expect, given its hardcore, action sci-fi ancestry. This time, it’s really about the story. More than that, it has strong themes at its core; some familiar ones about choice and illusion, and some much more timely ones mental health, resignation, capitalism and the deep yearning for love and connection as powerful motivations for our actions.
