It’s boring. I’ve watched my share of the Kardashians over the years, and this show has lost its charm. The new shooting techniques can’t cover up for the fact that the storylines are completely empty and vapid. This family’s success is its downfall. None of them are relatable in the slightest anymore, and the whole things comes across as a self-congratulatory vanity project/add for their businesses. Maybe, it’s also just because I’m older, but the scenes and the storylines are so clearly staged and improbable that I can’t really engage with them. Seeing the over the top houses and the privileged lifestyle is fun for a second, and then I remember that I have my own life to live, and it all just becomes vacuous voyerism. And, finally, Kim. Honey, everyone knows you leaked your sex tape for fame. Why do we keep rehashing it and pretending like it was done without consent? Honestly, I think I just grew out of the show. It’s whatever.
