I adored this book!
It had a raw, non-judgmental realism. It told what I think is one of the best stories of women. Not in a feminine or domestic bent, however more in a dynamic comprehensive manner. The vast differences of women amongst each other and their roles in the world. Also how beautiful and vast Human Relationships can be. For me, it was a telling , well told look, into the hearts of many different women living through the struggles of humanity. A witty and well-read commentary on the vageries of human mundanity and well known epic failures. We are all, every woman in this book. Perhaps the modern muses would not be too much to say.
Though I didn't write the characters, I felt taken in buy them. The the narrator captured the spirit and told an excellent version of such a wonderful story!
Thank you Elizabeth Gilbert and Blair Brown for giving us such a story, and more...a path to healing, understanding, and forgiveness...for others...for ourselves...for the world.
Much love ❤
