Season 1 was incredible however the show has gone downhill ever since. The humor and characters as of season 5 are really cringy and just don't appeal as much as before.

I've watched a dizzying amount of television shows and I can confidently say that Game of Thrones is by far the best. Shows like Breaking Bad, The Wire, Friends and The Sopranos are all amazing in their own right, however Game of Thrones has surpassed them all with ease. The complexity of characters, the build-up of tension and drama, the inevitable deaths of beloved characters, the nail-biting battle sequences and the jaw-dropping twists are unparalleled. The story unravels perfectly. It's a once in a lifetime show.
