The series felt dated and the characters stilted. I also felt like the humor relied too heavily on stereotypes that are anything but funny. And other than the African female lead, the actor cast as her father and son kept slipping in and out of a very noticeable and fake Nigerian accent. It was distracting and unnecessary because there are tons of African actors that could have been cast in those roles. This sitcom may have good intentions, but it just doesn't have what it takes to make it a good sitcom.
