Darbar in one word is satisfying. If you wanted to watch a movie because of your love of Rajini or your love of Anirudh musicals (which was the case for me), this movie will leave you feeling happy and content. In comparison to the past few movies with Rajini sir, this movie is by far much better and much more fun to watch! Fight scenes although definitely unrealistic are still fun to watch. Rajinikanth as a police officer was really a fun thing to see. His acting in this movie was outstanding, he doesn't look a day over 40. The plot itself is great for a Tamil movie, but romance and comedy certainly did lack in my opinion. I felt Nayanthara was not utilised enough for her talent! And the same with Yogi Babu. All in all amazing music amazing acting, great plot worth watching.
