Shani Brunson

This movie had my twelve year old daughter, thirteen year old niece, and everyone in the movie theater crying including me. I took us all through a slew of emotions from angry, to sorrow, to happy, to prideful and ultimately made a lot of us feel like we have to do more. Alabama (the South) has a long way to go. This country has a long way to go and the only way that we can change lives for those who the hands of justice are not tipped in their favor is by going into disadvantage communities and fighting for equality. I won't give too many details because I don't want to spoil it but what I will say is that Bryan Stevenson deserves all the awards, accolades and support. I truly appreciate Michael B Jordan for bringing this story to life with the platform that he has.
