This film is spot-on with what real life rituals are like, the studying, the learning of new words, the physical and psychological as well as spiritual preparation. The sigils and symbols of power etc... The only part I didn't like is the whole "I'm teaching you to do this ritual that you don't know and because of that, I have the right to use you sexually" narrative that is touched on, in this film. Otherwise, great movie with an averagely satisfying ending, I was disappointed by what wish the woman actually wants granted, I thought it would have been something more vindictive in the end.
