This movie was good, but not great. I was not expecting the movie to be as intense as it was, a little over the top, if you ask me. I liked the character cameos, especially America Chavez...however, it wasn't articulated as well as it could have been. I feel like this movie was far too over the top, with memorable characters and scenes, but didn't meet the hype. Good for any Marvel fan, just too much. I also never saw, nore intend to watch WandaVison. So some of Wanda's actions didn't make sense, and made her character very unlikable to me.

Everything is amazing! What a remake should be. However, some of the avatars don't look right; namely Professor Rowan and some of the kids. Rowan has a huge head in chibi form, and in full body his face doesn't look right. The kids look weird sometimes, namely the youngsters and campers/picnicers. Those aside, there are plenty of improvement to the core formula. I'm only two hours in and reliving my childhood. Can't give it 5 stars though.

1. It's only 2 stars because of Rick Flag and his character devopment 2. It was a total gore fest; unnecessary. Every action scene was too violent. 3. Harley Quinn was the quirky side character. She was only there to be comic relief and be an homage to the original movie. 4. Most characters were forgettable. They introduced so many I lost count. 5. The story was too all over the place that I couldn't focus on the film and list interest almost an hour in. The only good part is the last 3rd of the film. Overall, a bad film. I would have expected better from a Marvel director.

The movie for me was a mixed bag. The trailer made it look different than the actual result though, in my opinion. The message of the movie was great, but the characters didn't feel as fleshed out as they could have been, given their voice actors. It looked like they were trying to evoke emotion, but I didn't shed a single tear. I don't see how a kid will grasp what the moviebis trying to say... I thought the music was nice and the premise was promising. However, it isn't one of Pixar's best works. I would give it 2.5 stars if I could.
