We love the chosen series but this was not as advertised. I regret buying the tickets for this for me and my family. I feel very mislead by the advertising. And they waited until all the negative comments came out to say that it was actually a “concert” and not a show or movie. And a concert with fake singing, gaudy clothes, and gobs of make up. It just felt very ingenuine. Some of the names of God explained were nice, but even then you could see the actors eyes reading the monologue bc it wasn’t memorized. Very ingenuine and difficult to watch. I want to appreciate their effort but not the misleading advertisements. After watching the extensive ongoing “music videos” the episode basically consisted of every thing you see in the advertised preview videos on social media bc it was so short. I have been a donator to the show but buying these tickets feels like a scam and will use my donations to go elsewhere from here on out.
