This is NOT your typical television sci-fi series. This is a superbly crafted, sophisticated show and watching it is like digging into a huge, juicy steak. The acting is excellent with J.K. Simmons, always uncommonly good, turning in performances that are, at times, mesmerizing. I say "performances" because he plays two different versions of himself, each understated but clearly unique. To tell you why there are two different versions would be to shed light on a complex set of plot twists that deserve to unfold in the sequence set forth by this thriller. Suffice it to say, this a television show guaranteed to draw you in almost immediately and be very reluctant to let you go.
