Its not trying to be anything more than it actually is and that is its strongest suit. Dont go in expecting anything thought provoking or deep but if you want some cute humor and some simple fun it is perfect. Great movie for kids

I personally love it more than most MMOS. Feels a bit more hardcore, your decisions matter. There is a lot of build flexibility and it has a lot of content.

Well animated and great design but suffers from the worst thing a movie can experience, boredom. I was turned off immediately the moment I saw the grinches motivation, though its nice to see some depth from the character, the world around him doesnt make sense to his backstory. It actually takes more liberties than the Jim carrey one. Which while taking its own deviations from the original story at least had a world and backstory that fit that world. There are some enjoyable moments but to me, this movie losses all of its steam 1/4th into the movie.
