First review on NBA 2k - Gameplay when working is smooth. I do enjoy the actual game when working. However the constant updates that change the games core gameplay makes it infuriating. E.g blocks, shot timing, lay up timing and most recently standing dunk timing have all changed weekly 1. REC - I can't always jump on when my friends are on. I enjoyed the idea of a match up in the 'No squad secrion' based on overall ratings (under 93 Ovr or over 93ovr) this worked because as 93 ovr I found myself matched up with sensible players and the game was good. Now they changed that and I have had 6 games with players that get a kick out of ruining the game for others. I have suggested to make it a grade based match up system which I think would benefit. 2. Game crashes way too often and of you lose purchased boosts/gatorade which is realistically earned by spending your own money. This is ridiculous 3. Micro-transactions - The game makes it ridiculously hard to earn enough VC to be competitive and grow a players overall. 1 player going to 99 over can cost 500k VC which will set you back $150 on top of paying for the game. Clearly the game is set up for 2k to monopolise the basketball genre as there is no other game as good in the basketball world 4. Support- I have raised multiple tickets with video evidence on gameplay issues and its been 2 weeks and no response. I paid for a service and the game doesn't live up to it and also the amount of VC lost due to the games issues. There should be some form of compensation for all players that get inconvenienced by the bugs.
