*Disclaimer, this review is made based off watching only the first two episodes*
I feel like Wandavision does a good job so far at bringing us characters we’re familiar with and showing us more of their dynamic together. I know many are interested in seeing where this show leads us. I also see a lot of people critiquing the show, saying they’re expecting a marvel film with action/adventure, not a sitcom.
First, they’ve made it pretty clear from the beginning it was to be a sitcom. Second, that’s why they’re trying these Disney+ shows, the pacing is going to be more relaxed. Third, because it’s a show (based on a SITCOM), it’s not going to have all the action you’re used to in a Marvel film in the first 10-15 minutes.
In the teasers they show action, but obviously that’s later on. I see people nitpicking because they didn’t see all that action they usually hope for and practically wanted Wanda lifting up chunks of dirt and essentially kill her neighbors in the beginning of the show, and to those people I say at least look up what the show is going to be about before watching it to see if it interests you, don’t blame the studio because you never looked into the show yourself.
TLDR:
So far good, looks promising, yes it’s a sitcom
