Compared to what they show as comedy and sitcoms these days this series is of a high standard, typically witty British humor, or should I say humour. Rowan Atkinson is a master of comedy and David Haig and James Dreyfuss masterfully played their characters, a thin red line on the thin blue line... I'm still enjoying watching the same episodes over and over again on Youtube. I hate repetition but not if it's of this caliber... Too bad only 14 episodes were made... It can stand with other British comedies even though Fawlty Towers is still my all-rime favorite. There hasn't been anything like it since, best British comedy series EVER, hands down...
