Excellent movie. Tom Hardy continues to impress. Granted, the movie's beginning feels as if you have walked into the middle of a story unknown to you. Having spent some time in Russia, the movie evokes the haunting of time and place.

I'm not into monster horror. I prefer psychological thrillers. But this well done and avoided schlock appeal. Acting was stellar
But not sure how John's character comes back to life for part 2.....having lived 26 years with 24/ 7 extreme tinnitus I can appreciate the monsters reaction at the end. Lol
