I must say-this show looked very promising when it started but when it got to season 2-I lost complete interest and was extremely disappointed in the shows writing about the main hero-"Oliver Queen" .I would have given this show a 3 star but the only reason I am giving this show a 4 star is because the actors played their characters really well, the crime stories and scenes(till season 2) were amazing and thrilling but I was so disappointed with how the writers portrayed the character of Oliver queen after he became a hero. I mean-after the whole of season 1, where the writers are portraying Laurel to be Oliver's one and only love, the moment Sara enters, Oliver totally forgets about Laurel being his Love and starts dating his sister totally ignoring Laurel's feelings that too at a time when she clearly hinted at wanting to be with him. That completely says that Oliver hadn't changed much in terms of women and that totally messed up his Hero Status because Ideal heroes are usually a 1 woman man kind of thing. In my mind-Oliver seems more like a jerk than a hero while doing such things-and what is the show worth if its based on a Hero but the Hero is just isnt one. The writers completely messed the romance and destroyed the heroic image of Oliver Queen for me. I mean even if they wanted to have an Olicity story-a proper closure should have been given to Laurel and Green Arrow but the writers never stated anywhere clearly as to why Oliver was with everyone but Laurel who is actually supposed to be the main love interest of the Green Arrow. I just couldn't watch the show after season 2 simply because I stopped seeing Oliver Queen as a Hero because of the way he treated Laurel and that was the fault of the script. The actors were great specially Stephen Amell who fits the character very well.
