Watching this beside my black husband and asking more questions than usual. I want to make certain that I am able to understand racism. Even though I believe I have never been racist, I was raised by one. I owe my husband to see to the best of my ability, WHY black people look at the world or White people the way they do. It is sickening to see a grown man feel ashamed, after he buys a home, to introduce himself to the neighbors. He thinks they will reject his presence, because of the color of his skin.
