Countryside Resident 40 yrs in Florida

This mini-series was just OK. The concept was brilliant and being set in England and France was a fresh approach BUT the subtitles seem to have been added as an afterthought and poorly. They area bit on the small side even for someone younger and often you will find scenes with white text on a white-ish background which made it impossible to read. Aside from that technical aspect, the build up is very good, acting quite good, character development quite good. Does not quite have that 'certain something' that has a hook and the cliff hanger ending (which is expected in a movie of this sort) was not on point. It is worth seeing but do not expect it to wow you.
