Am really loving this show. I hope it finds its audience and sticks around for a while. The central mystery is cool, and the rival factions and hidden agendas make for some rich storytelling.

This series is teaching me so much about the racist horrors such as "sundown" jurisdictions that defined what it meant to be black in 1950s America, while providing the fan of Lovecraftian horrors in me with a rollicking rollercoaster ride of beautifully wrought visuals, classic tropes, and wonderfully unexpected twists.
