Melancholic Writer

By far my favorite series of all time. I was so obsessed and heartbroken by Netflix choosing not to continue it that I went ahead and read the manga. And can I just say, it only gets better. Not only is the anime in a beautiful art style full of such lovable characters, but as you continue through the story line you get attached to each and every one of them. It perfectly balances a sense of melancholy and adventure. It's not always just smiles and happy endings, common to most anime. It really draws you into a world completely different than ours and doesn't let go. The characters and plot are unique unlike anything I've ever seen before. I think Netflix's choice to stop making it was one of the worst decisions ever made, especially considering the back lash received from thousands of fans worldwide. Truly a masterpiece of art and writing, that I honestly would give up a lot of things to see continued. I would 100% recommend if you are looking for something to fill an empty spot in your life. Because it did for me.
