This book was really good. It showed how a teenage girl and her family could recover from a sudden death of a husband, father, and friend. When she moves to New Mexico, she thinks she'll be home before Christmas, her mom had other plans. Davey met Wolf, who is older than her and doesn't tell her his name. She also met Jane, who is an alcoholic. She thinks Jane is a sweet, loving friend, and she is right. Jane helped Davey a lot. Sadly, Davey and her family had to leave. But it was a good thing because they were going back home. Jane was sad. But Davey was happy, she got to go back home and start a new life! I think you will really like "Tiger Eyes". If you had it laying around the house like I did, read it, it's really good. And it teaches you a lesson: "Even though a sad tragedy happened in your life, don't lay around until the day you die, get out and do something exciting, you still have your whole life to live."
