As a person who is very interested in war history myself. I didn't think much about the aftermath of war or what it did to the soldiers after the war. Let's just say when I was young, I think it's all the glory and honour. I mean I do know the existence of PTSD on soldiers but not to the full extent of it. Violet Evergarden thought me that there's a huge gap between the civilians and the soldiers. War ain't fun people.
