Great movie! While nodding to the original elements that made the 1984 Ghostbusters a special film, this sequel develops the formula from old to new, and delivers a fun filled, action packed cinematic experience! Side note, yes Slimer is back baby! For us kids of the 80’s.

I had so much hope for a return to the source material, instead I got a cluster of a blended mess of a movie. Every character was slow to develop and totally missed the mark on some (Leon Kennedy) to just put it out there, but I will still wonder, what the franchise could be with the right people behind it. As sad as it is to say, don’t bother watching this if you have to pay for it. Use that money to play the good games of RE’s former glory.

Halloween Kills brings a lot of nods to the entire series, including Season of the Witch. Much more action and less focus on Jamie Lee Curtis, while emphasizing the roles of characters from 78. I was pleasantly surprised with how this film turned out, after feeling a bit lackluster from the 2018 film. Can’t wait until the 3rd entry in Halloween Ends brings this story to a close!
