Madeline Foss

Shocked by the number good reviews for this film. It starts out promising, the second act is great, and then it all comes down to tired tropes of abused women. Our main character goes from interesting to played-out caricature in a matter of sentences, and the ending is just another set of cliches that leave the viewer extremely dissatisfied. It's very clear that the actions and emotions of actual human women were not considered when writing the character of Anna.
