There is something cheesy about this show. It's hard to put your finger on it but the writing is a little hokey and the main characters are not engaging.
It's like they disneyfied WW II. It just doesn't feel real.
The plane scenes are amazing that's the only reason i continued watching.

This review is for the Tv show the book was very good.
Uninspired and frankly pretty boring. I tried to like it but was unimpressed. A classroom with symbolism that started with a swastika and progressed from there to leftist ideas of what are negative symbols. I was insulted by the wokeness slipping in, can Hollywood writers just stick with what's in the book and stop adding there vapid ideas that are unneeded and unnecessary.

Can netflix ever get the science right? Next time hire an astronaut or any capable scientist to read the script first. Oh and one other thing they wouldn't send a crew who couldn't get along on a 3 year trip.

Catherine the great was in her early thirties along with the rest of her crew at the time of the coup. Helen Mirren is not the right choice for this role.
