One of the great books:muscled, sumptuous, inventive, profoundly human. The movie is lovely but cannot be as powerful as the book , sparked as it is by story telling.

Perfectly fabulous! An inspired and inspirited mix of bountiful humor, invention, and compassion. Psychologically complex , it explores uncharted territory, revealing the endless complexities of existentially compromised family life, and the essential place of community, of novelty and invention, of loving friendship and big dreams. Above all, Schitt’s Creek is tremendously funny!

One of the truly Great films. Everything about it is brilliant and unique--from the use of sound (Sandler's inspired ranting ,the ongoing racket in the background enlivened and sustained by a constant swell of astonishing (one is astonished!) music)-- to a deeply imagined script, masterful editing and gorgeous photography. Sandler is magnificent. It is my favorite film this year along with Parasite. Both are fearless, faultless and unprecedented.
