When I started the first episode I really had very little interest in the British monarchy, but after watching the first couple episodes I can honestly say that The Crown and Downton Abbey are my favourite British Series of all time. The ACTING was amazing…I gives a since of reality, from the guards to the incredible portrayal of the Queen in the performance of Claire Foy. I love Princess Margaret she gives such character to the series… It truly gives the average person an understanding of life as a royal… I am very impressed with seasons 1 and 2… I have started season 3 and episode 1 lacks the passion and finesse of the prior seasons… but I love the story line so I will see how it goes….
