I would probably give this movie another star or two if it wasn't trying to market itself as a Mean Girls sequel, but it's too late for that. Honestly it really isn't worse than any other Disney/Disney-adjacent film meant for tweens but it does commit the sin of trying to piggyback off a successful and well-liked movie that actually had charm.
