A beautifully-animated, well-written show full of joy, adventure and excitement, and not afraid to get dark and edgy.
It is full of character dynamics and world-building, and there's no forced political agenda which the Kevin Smith show went to far with.
Despite some bold creative choices and changes, you actually get invested with the characters and their relationships.
While its very similar to other properties such as Big Hero 6 or Power Rangers, it is still very much a He-Man show. The Power of Grayskull, Snake Mountain, the kingdom of Eternos is all there.
The voice performances are solid, especially Ben Diskin as Skeletor, who is a complete scene stealer. In fact, he is even better than Mark Hamill in Kevin Smith's woke show.
While this is more of an ensemble cast than the 1983 series, everyone never forgot or rather ignored who the main character is - He-Man is still the main character, he's still front and centre. He is the heart and soul of this show. He never gets sidelined or killed.
This is a great new show for both kids of 2021 and parents who grew up with the property. Great entertainment for the whole family. So grab some popcorn and some sodas, and enjoy the show with your kids and spouses.
