This movie has everything that a critic would love about a movie. The brilliant starcast, the direction, the cinematography, the screenplay, the slow burning pace of the movie and the socio-political commentary of human nature- the changing face of an oppressor and the greed of power. The complete movie is in monochromatic and every frame of the movie impacts the narration beautifully. The old bungalow (mana), the jungle, the rain with the perfect bgm gives the right amount intensity required to push the narration further. Thevan singing to Kodumon is like the calm before the storm. Though I watched the Hindi dubbed version of the movie, I loved the movie so much that I am going to watch it in the original language. I am not a horror movie fan but I know that this is beyond just a mere thriller and horror movie. And I cannot emphasize enough that you must watch it for the good cinema it is.

I know that my attention span is getting lesser as the years passes by. But this one series was so gripping that I could ACTUALLY keep my mobile away. I thoroughly enjoyed the scripting, the screenplay, the fight sequences, the characters...... It is binge worthy all means. I hope they will get the 2nd season.

This is a movie made with absolute love and sincerity. The movie tells a story of the protagonist 'Qala'. Her journey to achieve the name so that she could get that sincere appreciation and love from her mother. The story of the spoken and unspoken human emotions and how sometime these emotions could be directly or indirectly impacted by your surroundings. Everything about this movie is just beautiful: starting with the screenplay, dialogues, the pace if the narration, the art direction, the music, the soulful songs, the profound lyrics, the cinematography, the colour or mood board that very much is part of the narration, each and every artists (the main artists and supporting casts both) who absolutely fits the bill. Each frame is a story in itself. It's a must watch for people who enjoys good cinema.

I recently watched the hindi dubbed version of Yashoda on OTT. The story is strong and calls out the evils in the corporatised version of the so called beauty industry. Samantha Ruth Prabhu definitely shoulders the movie. She looks beautiful, gracious and convincing as a special trained police officer. The narration building around the 1st half is placed well. It keeps you glued to your seat However in the 2nd half their recalling to pretty much all the main characters (Yashoda, Dr. Gautham's and Madhubala's) backstory could have been placed better. Also, it could have been wrapped up in a better way as for what may happen to Dr. Gautham... I honestly feel that when dubbed in Hindi, one must pay equal importance to the dialogues writing and delivery, both. That will definitely make the movie experience far better. Overall it definitely is a good attempt.

I recently watched PS1 (Hindi dubbed version) and here my take on the movie. It definitely is a visual grandeur of a movie. May it the rhe art designing, the costume and jwellery design, the cinematography.... Each frame especially where they have the leading ladies in the frame, is beautifully picturised and is absolutely mesmerizing. They look royal and strong. The fight sequences are well choreographed and the leading male actors justifies their role to a point that it's difficult to imagine anybody else fulfilling that role. Having said that, the only gripe I had in the movie was the inconsistency of language in the Hindi dubbed version. The language at some places tries to be rich and at many places falters. The voice artists have similar inconsistency with the dialogue delivery making the experience not as good as one would expect. However, when watched in the original Tamil language (though you may be busy reading the subtitles) you cannot deny the how beautiful this film is. Very well directed, well acted, well emoted..I am eagerly waiting for PS2.

The cinematography is undoubtedly one of the best that I have seen so far in this year's Hindi movies. The colour palette goes along with the rugged theme of the movie. Anil Kapoor as an ageing policemen justified the role very well. Harshvardhan did what exactly the story was expecting from him, nothing over the top, just what the story needed from him with very few dialogues and good acting. He knew that the story was the main hero. The supporting casts blended really well. There rawness, ruggedness and earthy appeal in the story, acting and in each frame of the movie. More such movie should be made and should be watched. It deserves an appreciation for sure. I definitely loved what the movie has to offer.

This is an easy to watch mini series on the rise of tyrants in history and if there's any learning that you could see with ones own world. The narration by Peter Dinklage makes it much more easier to watch a narration on such a heavy subject. Not to forget the sketches used for the story telling mellows down harshness of the story being told.

After much awaited and listening to all sorts of review, I finally took a plunge to watch this movie. I must say that the length of the movie, is ABSOLUTELY, worth it. The screenplay, cinematography, the fight sequence...is worth an experience to live for. It would be best experienced in IMAX. Snyder has given each character good amount on screen time and hence justified the team 'Justice League'. The new avatar of Steppenwolf, Superman, Darkseid....need I say it anymore? Note: If you aren't a movie buff, the duration may seem too long else, you will find justice being done to each character.

Watched this beautiful movie last night. Each actor have been casted perfect. Couldn't emphasize enough, with the amount of love the movie may have been made. Absolutely very unusual protagonist gets christened as 'Mandela' under equally abnormal situation. And starts the journey of our unsung hero Mandela, showcasing the importance of each vote while making satirical remarks at our society in many ways. Even if you may not understand the language, definitely put this under your muat watch list for the experience of such benevolent movie.

This is pure benovalent movie. Mindfully crafted and soulfully edited. A story that revolves around Noor (Nina Ji), Chhoti (Aqsa Siddiqui), Anarkali (Rudrani Chettri) and Chintu (Rajeshwar Khanna). They find support in each other in their most trying phase of life. How they uplift each other in their own possible way, how you could find those heartwarming moments with- just a cup of kulhadd chai, samosa, nailpolish..... As much as their acting made me introspect my life and felt so blessed with all I have to a point that I may have sometime taken it for granted. This movie had been made with love by Vikas Khanna in the same loving way how he would cook- gathering all the right ingredients, cooking it under the right temperature, serving to the people looking for that cousine garnished with the perfect touch. One may also definitely appreciate the cinematography, especially where Nina Ji had gulal on her face and is smiling, the lamps at the ghat (when Nina Ji goes looking for Chhoti) and beautiful Ganga arti (the last scene).
