Negative alert! If you are the types who can watch some of the most boring documentaries on Netflix because you think it 'enlightens' you or because you feel like a intellectual after watching it, then this movie is definitely for you. Me on the other hand, watch movies for entertainment and to have a fun time. There is nothing, not even a iota of enjoyment in this movie. It's as dry as a rock and as dragging as a dead man. Just a lot of conspiracy theories and some random imaginative investigation into something that doesn't exist. I walked out of the movie with 45 mins to 1 hour to spare in the movie. It was so hopeless that I was sure that there was nothing exceptional that I would miss if I walk out. Next time I would think twice, read some genuine reviews, and ask around, before I go for a Christopher Nolan movie on the opening weekend.

Have you ever seen a horror flick which also doubles up as a investigative thriller and frendship story? Adhura is a complete package. The direction is superb. It takes you seamlessly through multiple time frames, events and charecters. Thoroughly engaging, and tightly knit. I am fed up of the ratings on IMBD, Times of India and Koimoi. Unable to understand how can anyone rate this less than 4 stars. I have given it a full 5 stars because it does what it is made for - Entertain. But giving this less 4 stars is simply loser behaviour!

Its dragging, plot and timeliness are so twisted that it will give you a headache trying to figure out if you are in the past, present or future. Pathetic direction and storytelling. There is no real story here. Watch it if you have absolutely nothing else to do.

Please dont be fooled by all these five star reviews. The movie is slower than a snail. Hardly any script with meat to support it. Acting is good, but that's about it. It's so slow, that I tried to watch it 3-4 times and all put together could not go beyond 35 mins of the movie. It's not even funny... It's just light hearted. You can watch it if you have a hell lot of time to kill. But even then, there is much much better content on amazon prime and hotstar you can watch than this. I am guessing that all these high ratings by everyone is the halo effect of Big B, and the nepotism in Bollywood. It's sad that when new people try something good no one comments, but when a famous director and actor is in play, people write rave reviews. This movie does not deserve more than 1 star, and that too, is for the acting. Sorry, screenplay and direction is less than zero, if there is a option for it.
