Quality of PBS Newshour diminished by Judy Woodruff as anchor for a long stretch now. I find her the weakest, less skillful (and sometimes inappropriate) member of Newshour team. "Politics Monday" segment is very weak and boring (not insightful) -- would like to see more excellent participants chosen, perhaps rotating media persons with relevant expertise (I enjoy Bob Costa's process on Friday nights). Other reporters on Newhour and some special correspondents are higher skill level than Woodruff . Would also like to see more time committed to News rather than social commentary type segments.Need strengthening of reporting on world news and less of things like "Brief But Spectacular" or CANVAS segments, or even book reviews. It seems these additional segments might be made into a separate program..
