Updating my review: the show drastically improves in episodes 5 and 6, better plotting and action, more intense moments, more tricky moments. Apparently episodes 1-4 are there to prep the back story going forward but there is no clear direction for a goal yet. Old review: LOVE STAR WARS, but, The Mandalorian is scripted like an RPG VIDEO GAME. Intro, tasks completed, visit task master, upgrade armor, repeat with better upgrade to armor and weapons, cut in some character back story, conversations lack flow, and lead to next task from the task master, mottos of mindless believers of your almost extinct brotherhood... and the subtitles are lagging behind the actual words. Come on Disney, we are not stupid, you are capable of better scripting!
