Was skeptical at the beginning with the gratuitous violence and Indian hating, but thought it had too many serious actors in it for me to give up watching what I thought at first to be poor script....should have known better!!! It evened out and turned into one of the best movies I've seen, with a tremendous story plot, lesson to learn, and satisfying ending!

Great adaptation, animation, action, story line, character arc, and end message ...shame about the insipid wokism and man bashing which was completely out of sync with movie and unnecessary.

I love sci-fi fantasy and will generally watch a “bad” offering to the end with the hope it improves. This did not! They had legendary characters like Arthur, Merlin, Morgana, Gwain, etc and couldn’t write a decent character arc for each to get the audience invested in the plot. Just seemed like whoever wrote it wanted the focus to be “Women of Power”, and it did convey that...which was great...but that was about it! Oh and nice imagery with special effects sometimes, but I was always waiting for it to develop into a great story that never happened...what a waste. The conversations between characters were what I can only describe as “stupid”...normal people do not talk like that. The characters made decisions that made no sense like Nimue not taking the advice of Merlin (her father) and powerful dark lord or her mother but ran off and took the advice of a fey girl she only just met. There are countless instances like this that just made me bury my head in my hands while simultaneously forcing myself to carry on watching it because...well because I really really wanted it to get better. It’s probably worth a 3 star review but because someone took their time, probably spent millions of dollars to create this, I do not think it should be rewarded with anything other than the lowest rating. C’mon it’s like children wrote the storyline and the dialogue....sorry!

Well It started out really slow and I almost walked out the cinema if it wasn't for Thor's chubby comedic performance, and i have to admit the movie got alot better as a true Marvel spectacle as the film developed. So hated half of it, survived quarter of it, and loved quarter of it! As a Marvel fan all my life from the comics through to the all the recent movies...I can't help feel a bit disappointed with the contrived emotional overtones when the wrirers havent invested us sufficiently enough in the characters to feel the depth of emotion that they were trying to convey. and It just seems to try too hard to align itself to Modern SJW themes. But if you were a neutral it was a great movie, if you were like me a bonafied Marvel fan it was ok.
