As someone who live in era of the 80s, I greatly appreciate the faithful aesthetics of the G1 vehicle and robot mode design. However, like many has said, if your at home this movie expecting a onslaught of action, you will be disappointed. Yes, there’s action alright, but not those mayhem action. Fight scenes are purposeful and not for the sake of if to showcase the CGI. 80s tracks played during the movie are a awesome touch.
