This show is somewhere between a 2 and 3. I'm compelled to offer my thoughts. The overall premise is pretty good. However, it has some major flaws as a show. All in all, probably worth a watch compared to other stuff, but here are the flaws. 1) The most heinous offender is the dialogue. There are moments of extremely cringeworthy dialogue, and they are fairly frequent. 2) The writing, which ties into the dialogue, is pretty all over the place. It can be pretty decent for a while, and then devolve into nonsensical drivel. 3) The plot, much like the dialogue and writing, can be pretty all over the place. Conspiracy over conspiracy, it gets fairly tired coupled with the over flaws. 4) Lastly, the "bad guys" range from not believable to almost comical in character. So how is this worth a watch? Well, to be fair, there is definitely something intriguing that makes it worth watching and trying to figure out. And for how wildly stupid some of the dialogue and writing is, some of it is good. Overall, it's just a very inconsistent show with some good goods, and really cringe bads. There's not a lot of other good shows on Netflix once you've gotten past the few great ones, and this fills a bit of a need for something to watch.

I finally got around to watching this when act 2 released. I am completely impressed by how great it is. Blew away any hopes and expectations I had, and I cannot wait for more of this season and hopefully more in the future. That said, the animation is completely top notch. There are times when it actually does look real, but the style of the animation is terrific. It is incredibly well-written, and it was awesome to see the story unfold so far. I dabbled in LoL long ago, and now I play TFT from time to time, so I am familiar with some characters, but I would feel comfortable recommending this to anyone, regardless of familiarity with the game. Gave me a much deeper appreciation for the lore they built. 11/10, will probably watch again and must have more seasons. Great job Riot!
