Besides Serizawa, the human characters were boring and a few were downright annoying. However, Godzilla movies have always had boring human plots and I didn't go into that theater to see humans I went to see Godzilla and friends and this movie definitely delivered. The monster designs, sounds, and fight scenes were amazing and definitely worth sitting through human suplots.
